Make me proud.
Unforgettable {Chapter 1}
Her eyes quickly scanned the room, looking around for Drake. With no sight of him anywhere she stammered out into the parking lot, completely unaware of how drunk she actually was. But, she didn't even drink, or did she? She would never do it, not in her current state. She fished her keys out of her purse and walked over to her car. She got in the front seat and started her car. Her hands gripped tightly on the wheel and pulled out of the parking lot of the new bar. In the back of her mind she knew that she probably shouldn’t be driving, but her conscience was shut off by the alcohol that was recently in her system. The drive from Jackson’s bar was much longer than she thought.
She tried to keep her eyes trained on the seemingly never ending road ahead, but often found herself swerving. Nicki was starting to realize how stupid she was being. I just have to get home. She thought to herself. The car swerved and she breathed heavily. She was definitely more drunk than she had thought she was, she wasn’t even paying attention to her own thoughts, and her hands were loosely gripping the steering wheel. The car swerved to the side again.
Everything happened so fast, the car swerving off the side of the road into a tree, and the glass of the wind shield shattering and raining down on her. The air bag exploded in her face and she leaned her head on the headrest. Mentally yelling at herself. How could she have been so stupid. Her jaw stung, but she could tell from the pain that it was nothing serious. The airbag slowly deflated and she got a look at the damage. She unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car, still a little dizzy, a combination of the car crash and all the alcohol. She walked around to the hood and reached for her phone.
She quickly dialed Abel’s number, she was almost afraid to call Drake, not sure what he would say. Her words were still slurred slightly and she wasn’t thinking straight. “Abel..” She spoke, her words coming out tired and weak, “I need you.. to come pick me up.” Nicki raked a hand through her hair, careful not to touch her sore jaw. A trail of questions came from Abel, his words slurring as well. Maybe Wayne or Safaree could pick her up, she just didn’t want Drake to know about anything of this. “I.. uh,” She groaned, “I’m drunk.. I thought I would be okay.. I.. got into a car accident.” At the worried sound of Abek’s voice she spoke again, “No.. I’m fine, I just need a ride, my cars busted.” And after that sentence everything went black.
**
The next morning Nicki woke up in the hospital slightly disoriented and worried. The room was dark because someone had closed the curtains. The sun couldn't even penetrate through the windows, as if it knew that wasn't a pleasant place but a few sunbeams made their way into the room, just enough to make Nicki realize where she was. The stiff, scratchy, linen sheets made the room even uglier. She let out a muffled groan and looked over at the man besides her. Her heart began beating quicker, making the EKG beep wildly.
His eyes opened quickly and he pulled her into his embrace. "Nicki, shh, it's fine.." He whispered soothingly.
"Drake?" Nicki started to sob uncontrollable into his chest, burying her face in-between his shoulder and his neck. . "What happened? Why am I in the hospital? Are.. are.." She didn't even dare to ask this question. She was too scared.
"Shh, I'm here, Nic," He could clearly hear the pain in her voice and it killed him. "Someone mixed something into your drink yesterday and right after that you got into a car accident. You called Abel," Drake pointed to the chair in the back of the room and when Nicki looked at the spot, she saw a sleeping Abel. "And you asked him for help and when he arrived, he found you.. unconscious. He brought you here and called me."
Nicki closely listened to every single word Drake was saying. "And.. what about the twins?" She finally dared to ask him as she let her hands glide to her belly. "Are.. are they okay?"
Your love keeps me going {Oneshot}
It was such a slow motion, watching it drip from top to bottom. The color of her skin made it really stand out, such a bright color over a tame peach. The muscles would twitch every few moments, the nerves getting the best of her. She had a straight face, though. He had known what he was getting into and for some, odd reason, he didn’t want to disappoint himself.
Most guys found it weird or far too kinky for their liking. It was their loss, he figured. They didn’t understand his highs that he got from it. They didn’t understand the elated, blissful feeling of the iron liquid surfacing from the veins. They didn’t see it, or feel it, they way he did. But that’s why he was different. That’s why he was special and none of them were good or worthy enough for him.
This woman, however, was going beyond expectations.
The edges were blurry, everything was blurry. All he wanted to do was focus, but his vision would fade in and out as she stretched her limbs, trying to break free. He felt himself gasp — a small, withering gasp of pleasure that he wasn’t even sure came from his lips. It was only her and him in the room, however, so he’d have to assume it was him. By the way his eyes slid over to his location, he thought he was right and tried putting in effort to release another gasp to please the girl in front of him.
His control over his body was missing, it seemed, so instead he stayed silent. The rope around her wrists had its own scent. He could pick up traces four feet away. He didn’t notice as he wormed his body down, dropping onto the bed. The red smeared on his skin, making a broad pattern on the sheets under him. His stare had found her and his fingers, stained, were beckoning her over. He had no choice, he must go. What he would find, he didn’t know, but everything in his body was craving what the girl had, what the girl was. The colors, the smell, the simply feeling of it, calling to him as a siren song. He must obey.
As he lifted himself to a standing position, his world shifted and suddenly he was on his back, staring up at the celing. The man let out a gentle sigh, getting up from the bed. He pulled the blanket up to her chin and closed his eyes after that, only opening them a moment later. There was only red behind his eyelids now. He would not be getting any more sleep tonight as far as his body was concerned and neither would the girl.
With those last words he ripped the bra and thong from the girls body and positioned himself over her, slowly filling her with his length and holding one of his hands over her mouth, leaving her screams muffled.
**
Nicki woke up as her own scream filled her ears. She sat up in bed and pulled her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth. She couldn't get the images of this horrible night out of her head. As she slowly looked around and wiped some of her tears away, she noticed that the curtains in her room had been tucked away to each side, allowing the sun to over stay it's welcome, all thanks to Drake or Wayne. Usually Nicki would have simply put them back down and wallowed in her bed for the whole day until Wayne and Drake found her and forced her out of her own house, but instead she had convinced herself that a little bit of endorphins would do her some good. And she was right, it helped a little. Just enough to get her out from under the sheets and moving around the room impatiently.
A million thoughts were running through her mind all at once. Not only did she know that Drake, Wayne and probably Safaree were downstairs, waiting for her to come down but also that she had to start talking to Drake about her feelings. To her close friends it was no secret that she felt something for him. Nicki would never let herself utter the thought aloud, not even while all alone. Once it was out, it became all too real which is something she couldn’t handle at the moment, especially not after what had happened to her.
Letting one foot land slowly and gracefully in front of the other, Nicki paced back and forth across the floor at the foot of her bed. All she could do was hear the words: “Slut. You're a failure. You could've protected yourself” resound over and over again in a familiar voice. It was never in Nicki's intentions to get raped. Not able to stand the thought any longer Nicki swiftly shook her head, sending it away and broke her pacing pattern. Just as she did her phone sounded from across the room and she had a pretty good idea of who it might be. As she moved across the wood floor, Nicki grabbed her phone off the side table next to her clock and began to skim the message from the familiar sender. A lump in her throat began to form as Nicki exited out of her inbox screen and focused on the picture of herself and a few friends - including, Drake, Safaree and Wayne - that had remained her background for month now. It was a time when they were in a good place, an uncomplicated one. Shaking her head once more, Nicki opened her bedroom door and slowly walked down.
**
„I don't think it's a good idea that she stays in her room all day..“ Safaree muttered and looked up at Wayne and Drake who were sitting opposite of himself.
„Do I look like I want her to stay in her fucking room all day, dickhead?“ Drake spat. „Why are you here again?“ He mumbled as he shook his head. He really had no idea what he was still doing here. He was the annoying third wheel no one wanted – well, no one besides Nicki.
Wayne was about to say something when he heard a quite voice. He turned to see Nicki on the end of the staircase.
„Could you guys stop fighting..“ Nicki said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. It was the first thing she had said since she got raped. She hadn't talked to them, nor the doctor or the police. When she noticed the shocked look on their faces a quiet but forced giggle escaped her lips. "Now why do you niggas look so shocked?"
With a swift move Safaree got up and walked towards her, stopping right in front of her. For a second he just looked at her with his mesmerizing eyes and a small smile appeared on his lips. "Hello, beautiful."
The next person who walked towards her was Wayne. "Kinda missed that smile of yours, barbie." He'd never admit it, but he had been worried about Nic and now he was happy that she was talking to them again.
With a small smile Nicki turned away from them and walked down the rest of the steps, keeping her glance focused on Drake. „Get up and give your girl a hug, idiot. And don't let me tell ya twice,“ Nicki said.
Quickly Drake got up and wound his arms around her waist bringing her up to meet him. He was made to keep her body warm and safe but he failed. It was all his fault. If he wouldn't have been too fucking proud to apologize to her, Nicki wouldn't have left his house in the middle of the night and then none of this would've happened.
Drake was about to release Nicki, when she opened her mouth to talk. "Please, don’t let go. I need you. I love you and I need you, more than you could ever imagine." Nicki emphasized every single word.
These words sounded like music in his ears. He took her face into his hands and kissed her forehead, pushing all the negative thoughts way. "I love you, too, Onika."

A/N: Ok, it's kinda creepy, well, rather weird, but the first few paragraphs just came to my mind and I wanted to write a fic - although it's kinda short and suck-ish. I'd be happy about some feedback. :3
Save me {Oneshot}
Drake was making his way down the path in the park. He was heading towards the studio, the place where he could act like everything's perfect, but of course nothing is since Nicki's gone. The bare tree branches were reaching out towards him, trying to catch him and prevent him from getting there. Above him there was a swarm of crows flying in the opposite direction from the studio. Drake began to make his way into the studio when he stopped dead in his track. His eyes grew wide as they locked onto the back of a woman who stood at the end of the floor, ready to disappear into a room. The woman's stance was identical to Nicki's and Drake would know that haircut and blonde color anywhere. And god, how he had missed her.
He opened his mouth as if to say something, but no words came out. Drake felt like he was going to throw up, or pass out at any minute. He felt the same feelings he had been feeling weeks ago return to the pit of his stomach, as if he was at the top of a rollercoaster about to make the big drop. Every ounce of his body was praying that he wasn't dreaming. He had to admit to himself that he was happy with seeing her, it was better than all the memories he had in his head. He looked at the girl hopefully with her lips parted, looking as if he was going to say something but he couldn't find the right words and before he could say something the girl disappeared into the room.
****
Nicki stood in front of the microphone, where she’d been for the past twenty minutes, trembling. Safaree was probably sleeping or waiting for her to leave the small seperated room. As she stared at her hands, she felt nothing. She knew she should feel happy, terrified … all of the above. But there was just a numb feeling where emotion used to be. Her fingers shook as she reached out and touched the microphone, ready to sing. In that moment, all of her flaws seemed to stand out and emotion came flooding back over her like a tidal wave. She raised her voice and started to sing while the tears were streaming down her face.
This time won't you save me.
This time won't you save mr.
Baby, I can feel myself givin' up.
This time won't you save me.
This time won't you save me.
Baby, I can feel myself givin' up.
And with the last line Nicki broke down and her walls tumbled down. Nicki saw that the door swung open and that Safaree was walking through it. She pushed the door open and then Nicki half ran to him, and in one easy motion he dropped the magazines and wound his arms around her waist bringing her up to meet him. She hugged him hard, burying her face in-between his shoulder and his neck. The tears starting to well up in her eyes. And she started to cry quietly, burrying her head in-between his shoulder and neck a little bit more. She had never needed her best friend that much.
****
Suddenly tons of rain streamed through the darkness and beat against all the windows of the studio, drowning out the sound of Nicki singing. Drake slowly opened the door and walked into the room. He was tired of ignoring the fact that Nicki was there and he couldn't take her into his arms because he was too stubborn. He closed the door and that was when he saw Nicki crying. „Onika..“ He said in a soft voice and walked towards her.
Looking up from the paper with the lyrics on it she saw Drake standing in the middle of the room. For a second she just stared at him. „What is he doing here? Safaree, I told you not to let anyone in.“ She spat as she blinked a few tears away.
„Don't do that, Nika..“ Drake mumbled with a hint of pain in his voice as he stared at Nicki. „I heard your song. It sounds good. It's very personal, isn't it?“
Nicki just eyed him before she got up from where she sat and pulled on her pink cardigan. „What do you want here, Aubrey? I thought I made clear that I don't want to see you.“
"Damn, Onika! I can't just stay away. I love you. I fucking love you!" He raised his voice at her and immediately saw that she was crying again. "I'm sorry, come here.." He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close, never wanting to let her go again.
"I love you, too, Aubrey," Nicki said as she pressed a kiss onto his chest.
Goodbye my lover; You've been the one for me. {Oneshot}
Nicki had been sick for quiet a while now. A very, very long while. Actually, she was sick before Aubrey left for the war against a different gang, but she never told him. She only started getting weaker after he left. And it had been only two months, two months since he’s left, and now she was bedridden with sickness. And Brey didn’t know a thing about it. She hoped she would get better in time he got back for Wayne’s birthday so she can celebrate it with him and then they’d both announce their engagement at the dinner as planned. If it only had gotten better.
But a feeling loomed over Nicki lately, and she knew she was nearing the end of the torture and pain she was trying to fight off for months now. And she asked for Aubrey. Unable to speak or write without winding up to cough roughly and fall back into unconsciousness weakly, she assigned Wayne to do the job of sending a message to him or calling him and she hoped, prayed silently, that he got it and would just come in time.
It was a really dull morning in Malibu, and Safaree had helped her shower and dress and tried to feed her. Hopelessly, she ate a few bites and prayed that would get her to stop trying because it always just came back. After she was put back into the bed, Nicki gave up on trying to read the book she should be reading and grabbed her phone instead, writing a message to Wayne, and she fell asleep tiredly, unaware of the slight movement of the door to her room as an unexpected guest peeked through the opening.
She wasn’t exactly getting the most peaceful sleep, but given her weak state, all she could do was sleep. It was only a few weeks ago when she became so tired to the extent of immobility. And even her short restless sleeps weren’t exactly as refreshing as sleep should normally be. She always woke up extra tired than before, her body feeling heavier, like a burden she had to carry around. She never considered giving up, even when the pain seizures got too horrible to bare, that she passed out from screaming in pain, or when her stomach wouldn’t give her rest as it rejected all the food that had gotten into her system.
She felt a soft touch against her forehead, but her lids were too heavy to open at all. She tried to swallow thickly, pursing her lips as she took a deeper breath, slowly coming back into consciousness. Nicki felt her hand held warm within the familiar hold she always felt soothed by, and she was encouraged now to open her heavy lids as she turned her head, her brows pulling into a frown as she fluttered her eyes open. Her vision never exactly cleared, but she could see those familiar hazel eyes and the ghost of a smile crossed her lips, “You’re here..” She managed to whisper.
When her vision was finally cleared, her eyes half opened due to her weakness, she couldn’t even open her eyes all the way, but the soft weak blues found his hazel ones before she studied his appearance. He was dressed in his favorite hoodie, and Nicki felt a soft strangled laugh leave her lips, “You look cute in your hoodie.” She commented playfully, her fingers limply squeezing his.
She smiled softly as she felt Aubrey’s thumb stroking the back of her hand, and she took in a deep breath to steady the feeling of nausea that washed over her body relentlessly, her eyes shutting for a minutes, cursing every bite she ate, or force-ate by her best friend earlier that day before her eyes fluttered open again, to find his face, the small smile no matter how much concern the very features of his beautiful face held. She longed to tell him she would be fine, but she had a feeling that fine didn’t just comply in her case. She had become so sick to the extent that she started to loose hope into getting better. She was broken beyond repair, and she didn’t want to give Aubrey any false hope. She didn’t even want him to see her like this. But she missed him so much. His presence now made the familiar ache in her limbs lessen ten times less.
“Yes..the message..” Nicki repeated as he told her that he came as soon as Wayne had messaged him. “I’m sorry..I didn’t tell you myself.” She started, her voice barely over a whisper but audible, at least to him. “I thought I would get better…but it kept getting worse..” She explained, her words cutting off as she coughed dryly, wincing, feeling her scorched up throat moisten before she leaned sideways, clenching her mouth shut as she reached for the napkin she kept beside her on the bed to press it to her mouth, the red tangy blood soaking into the white soft fabric of the napkin, and she tried to keep it hidden from him as she wiped her mouth mouth clean and sighed louder, “Water, please..” Nicki gestured to pitcher and the glass on the stand as her eyes fell shut momentarily.
After he had helped her sip onto the glass and eased her back onto the bed, resuming their previous positions, she smiled as he offered he would be wearing his hoodie now more often, but her mind answered sadly, that’s if you were around more often. She saw the sudden shift in his eyes and she felt her heart shatter within her chest. She didn’t know it would be this hard. “Life’s not fair, Brey. But you have to be strong.” She whispered as she brought his hand to her lips, pressing her lips against every knuckle of his, leaving a soft reassuring kiss there as she still remained staring up at him, fighting the grief that came over her.
Nicki never questioned why she had fallen a victim of an illness that sucked her life and health out of her. She didn’t question why now, when she was only few weeks from accomplishing she had been dreaming of for years now, for years she had been excitedly anticipating, planning how their wedding would be. A small church wedding, they both agreed, since neither liked too much of a party. Then they would both be off to commence their life officially. Why now? Why her? She found herself questioning now, and her eyes welled up with tears as she closed them as Aubrey stroked her cheek. “Don’t ever leave..” She whispered and swallowed thickly, trying to hold away those tears, but it was fruitless. They had already slipped past her lashes and she took in a deep breath. No, she wouldn’t cry. She should be strong. For him.
When she started coughing, Aubrey's arms wrapped around her to carefully help her sit up as she coughed into the napkin, wiping it against her lips, trying to get it off her flesh so hhe wouldn’t see it before she sighed, folding the napkin before clenching it tightly within her hand. Aubrey brought the glass to her lips and she swallowed carefully, wincing as the cold clear liquid touched her throat before she relaxed and sighed softly as he quickly put the glass away and helped her lie down again. Her head turned to him as he sat down again, his fingers wrapping around hers again, this time she felt the desperation and fear in his hold and her eyes welled up again. She didn’t want to be separated from him just yet. She almost started complaining as he got up but she couldn’t really raise her voice much, so she settled into silence as she tried to shift and look at him.
The bed dipped beneath his weight and she smiled at the last memory of a bed dipping beneath their weight before he left. No one knew they’ve done it, went all the way, linked themselves wholly; body, mind, & soul. It was their secret. Nicki felt Aubrey collect her into his arms, easing up the the process of moving for her as all what she did is rest against his chest, curling up beneath the covers that covered her body which was only clad in a flimsy baby blue nightgown. His arms wound around her protectively, as if he could possibly protect her from what had weakened her, but it’s not possible. His hand found hers again, and Nicki couldn’t help but blink away the rest of her tears as she held onto him with all the strength she had. “Mmhmm..” She moved her head softly, she couldn’t help but smile as he kissed the top of her head softly and her eyes fell shut for a second, their breathing in sync together as she relaxed in his arms.
„I will never leave you.“ Nicki’s brows were pulled into a frown as she weakly looked up, blinking once again the tears in her eyes as he promised to never leave her, and a broken sob left her lips weakly. Because she knew it wouldn’t be him leaving her; she would be the one leaving him. She was never going to make it past this. Nicki always heard stories about how people felt it when it was near the end to them, like when her grandfather just woke up and hugged her, and died later that evening. She never really got it, until now. Now she understood. She felt it. The eerie feeling that someone was waiting for her at the foot of her bed, waiting for her to finish her farewell. She felt it and gripped her with steely fear as she buried her face into Aubre'y hoodie, her fingers gripping onto the rough material as hard as they can go. She looked up at him as he wiped her tears away and she sighed softly, swallowing again.
She curled within his protective old, wanting - more like needing it to be effective. She needed to get better for him, but she wasn’t even very sure that would be an option any more. When he wiped away her tears, she hiccuped softly in attempt to hold back the sobs, the jerks of her small body sending slight shocks of pain through her chest before she evened out her breath, relaxing into his arms yet again. Nicki lifted her face to his, mustering up all her strength to speak, “Aubrey..” She started slowly, clearing her throat once, “Show me the ring. You said I don’t get to see it till you propose. I really want to see it.” She pleaded softly as she frowned, tilting her head softly, hoping he had their rings on him. “Please.”
Nicki saw the smile on his face and she couldn’t help but smile in return. He had been blessed with the most beautiful smile, and even when he didn’t smile much, he smiled around her. When he looked down at her and pressed the soft kiss to her forehead, she wanted to change her mind. She couldn’t afford him leaving her side now. Nicki almost started speaking when he moved, but he lay her down gently and started leaving. She swallowed and blinked once, moving her head softly in acknowledgement then she watched as he left the room. Her hand fell over the small cross hanging from the chain around her neck as she closed her eyes, “Please, please…just a little more time..” She whispered weakly, more like begged. Her eyes flashed open when she heard her best friend’s voice. She couldn’t bear looking at Safaree for long. Because Nicki and Safaree had formed the strongest bond ever. Safaree’s eyes lit with realization when he saw hisbest friend.
Safaree moved and grabbed a dark blue shawl to wrap it then around Nicki’s shoulders, mumbling something about Aubrey seeing too much of her. She couldn’t help but suppress the laughing, wanting to tell her best friend that there was nothing left hidden from his eyes anymore, but instead she started, “Safaree..can you get me the ring..in the drawer..? The one..I got for Brey.” Nicki's eyes traveled weakly to the dresser behind Safaree, and the man nodded, fetching the ring then and pressing it into Nicki’s hand before pecking her cheek softly and leaving the room yet again. She then turned her eyes to stare up at the light blue ceiling, swallowing thickly as she turned the ring in her hands. It was very simple, a golden ring lined with small saphires, just like his eyes, and within its interior were the words forever and always engraved in Latin. She smiled softly then, her eyes fluttering shut for the slightest minute, before Aubrey had her in his arms again.
Her eyes drifted up to his eyes as he grabbed her left hand, and her eyes welled up. She pursed her lips as he slipped the ring onto her finger, and after studying it, she looked up at him with teary eyes, her expression nothing overwhelmed with joy and pain. “Beautiful..” Nicki let out, whether it was a strangled laugh or sob she didn’t know. She pulled herself up against Aubrey's chest, her body’s weight practically all leaned onto him as she picked up his left hand as well, revealing the ring in her hands.She didn’t really know what to say, so she cleared her throat and tried to make her voice as clear as possible. “Aubrey Drake Graham,” She started, her eyes flickering up to his, “I promise to love, cherish, support you through the good and bad, sickness and health, rich or poor…forever and always..” She decided not to use ‘till death do us part’ because it was too ironic. The pain already clenched within Nicki’s chest; her time was running out. But when she looked up at his wide, expectant eyes, she let out a small laugh. “With this ring .. I thy wed.” She then slipped the ring on his finger. Why did she do that, she had no idea. But she was on impulse, and she had to do it. He repeated the same lines, and when she looked up at him, she whispered weakly, “You..may now kiss the…bride.”
Nicki looked up at his face as her smile broadened after they were done with their vows, and she couldn’t help but laugh weakly at how they were both doing this. Brey didn’t hesitate, and he repeated the vows, his eyes never leaving hers, and she felt the sincerity and the love in each and every word he said, she saw him. She saw Aubrey Drake Graham, her best friend, her partner in crime, her lover, her fiance, her husband, her everything. He grinned when she allowed him to kiss. Their kisses were like sneaky forbidden kisses, the deep ones always when the night fell. She was distracted from her sweet thoughts as she felt his lips press against hers, and she tilted her head upward softly to take in all that he could offer, put her part into their kiss. Their last kiss.
She didn’t want to ever leave him. She would do anything, but the pain was too much, it over powered her. How long Nicki could hold on was much too little. They wouldn’t even get to start anything. It all ended before it even started. The thoughts brought more tears to her eyes and she swallowed thickly as she watched his face, nodding once with a small smile as he said he’d love her forever and always. She pursed her lips tightly, staring into deep brown eyes, she had long fallen for. So soft, so serious, so sentimental. She wanted to look into them forever, she wanted this moment to last forever, but she knew the pain on her face was apparent. She knew the clock ticked her last few minutes.
She was cradled into his arms again, staring ahead into nothing as she felt their finger interlacing, and she smiled softly. “I love you, Brey.” She whispered, her voice slowly fading away as did her spark. But her eyes were playing all the memories she had; the happy and the sad ones. The day they met, her brother’s funeral, their first kiss, her brother’s wedding, his brother’s many birthdays. Their first time, soft, sweet, and secretive. Because neither knew if he would come back alive from that war, and they wanted to be linked. And now the memory of the vows, the rings, the last kiss.
Nicki blinked away the last of tears in her eyes, the pain in her chest almost crippling away the words she wanted to say, “Forever and..al..ways..” She managed to breathe out quickly, her hand tightening around his, before her fingers relaxed and just went limp in his. Nicki’s eyes never closed, the last tear falling onto their linked hands as the large hazels turned glassy, lifeless. The last breath escaped out of her lips slowly, tantalizingly before it did. And the last feeling she savored was Aubrey’s arm around her, their hands together…and then she just faded away. Just like that. There she lay, lifeless, in her lover’s arms, forever & always.
Leave some comments, it'd make me happy!
Take Care {Part 1}
Nicki thinks she’s making a mistake, but his lips are so soft, his hands so warm, and his whole body affects her like a magnet. She just can’t pull away.
“Oh god,” Nicki complained after swinging her legs over the side of the bed a couple of hours later. Everything was hurting. “Ouch!” She knew that he knew exactly what she meant by, ouch. “Don’t worry..” she said with a light grin on her lips. “It’s not your fault. I didn’t let ya take it slow.” She looked at him. “Lesson learned,”she noticed. She stood up gingerly. She took a few steps and stopped. “Jesus,Wayne..,” she groaned. “You should be prohibited,” she muttered as she padded the rest of the way into the bathroom but gave him a quick smile over her shoulder, letting him know she had enjoyed every minute of it. A minute later, she climbed back into the bed besides him. She started to drew little circles with her fingertip on his chest.
“I’m gonna take a shower now, babe,” Wayne said. “And after that I have to leave to record that new track,” As he looked at her, he saw her pouting and a small laugh escaped his lips. “Don’t ya pull that face on me. It’s not working, babe.” With that words he leaned down to her and gave her a quick kiss before he disappeared into the bathroom.
A deep sigh escaped Nicki’s lips as she slipped into some yoga pants and one of his shirts. A few moments later she was lying on the couch of Wayne’s apartment, flicking through the TV channels bored out of her mind while she was thinking about what had happened last night. Sex, with Wayne. She shook her head, trying to get rid of those thoughts. Impatiently she was waiting for him to come out of the shower. It had been almost an hour and he still wasn’t ready. Nicki rolled her eyes at the fact that there was nothing on TV. They had pretty much canceled all the good shows. So she jumped up off the couch and headed into the kitchen, hoping to find something to eat.
She rummaged through the cupboards and the pantry for some kind of food and found nothing. “Ouh..,” she mumbled to herself. It was impossible and hopeless to find something to eat here. Her stomach rumbling, she walked up the stairs into his bedroom just to find him sitting at the edge of the bed. She crawled onto the bed with a smile on her face.
Nicki appeared behind him, sitting down and spreading her legs out on either side of his. Her cheek rested on his back and her arms looped around his waist. She smiled as she rested her chin on his shoulder. “You know, I’ve never seen you like that before,” she smiled as she nuzzled her nose against the side of his neck, before pressing soft kisses onto it.
“C’mon, Nika,” he mumbled. “Don’t do that. I gotta leave now.” With those words he slowly got up, looking at her. “I promise that I’ll be back soon and we can continue whatever you were planning to do.” Wayne said with a smirk.
“Eww, I didn’t plan on doing anything,” Nicki said in a perfect sing-song voice as she let a small chuckle escape her lips. “Now, hopp hopp, I’m sure that they all are waiting for ya.” With those words Nicki got up and walked to the door with him. Before he left Nicki gave him another kiss.
“Don’t make me wait for too long,” she warned and he laughed.
“I’ll try my best, babe. Bye, Onika.” And after those words were said Wayne disappeared into his car and drove off.

It’s late, she should be sleeping. There’s a whole day ahead of her tomorrow, another day lurking the depths of the bedroom, more waiting around.. But she’s restless, and being left alone with nothing but her thoughts, it’s becoming unbearable for the blonde. When she would normally fall under the torture of boredom she would usually convince Wayne to talk to her until she fell asleep. It seemed a bit harsh to people on the outside but Nicki could tell that he didn’t mind it. But this time was different, a whole lot different. For one she was practically locked up in this stupid bedroom and secondly she had absolutely no idea where he was.
Nicki pushed out a sigh from her lips as she pulled her hand gently from underneath her golden locks and turned to her side, hoping that this new position would help her sleep but it was no use. She pulled herself up, arching her eyebrows as she looked around. She curved her lips up in to a pale, weak smile as she thought to herself that he’d be back soon.
And just when she was about to drift back into sleep, she heard the bedroom door crack open. Turning on the light and looking to the door, Nicki sighed in relief. She got up from the bed and walked towards him. “Where have ya been? You told me you’d be back soon.”
Grabbing her hands and pulling her close, Wayne made a face. “It’s just been a few hours more. Don’t be mad, baby.”
It's kinda short, but I'm pretty tired. And I have nooo idea what to think 'bout it. Leave some comments, yes?
Pain hidden in her pride {Sneak Peek}
Looking at me now I can see my past.
Damn, I look just like my fucking dad .
Wayne's POV:
I heard her screams. They were still echoing inside my head. She screamed at me to stop, but I kept on going until Safaree was lying on the floor. His face was covered with bruises and he could barely move. That was when I realised what I had done. But I did it to protect Nicki. No one, not even that nigga Safaree, would lay hands on her again. Nicki was still screaming at me, asking me why I had done that, but I couldn't answer her. I was paralyzed.
My eyes followed Nicki as she half run to Safaree, bending down to him. "What the hell?!" Nicki muttered under her breath. "Safaree.. Wake up, please," She mumbled again and again, the tears now running down her face. "Why did you do that, Wayne ?"
"You're asking why I did that ? Damn, Nika! That guy slapped you and not just once! Fucking stop protecting him and taking him with you everywhere you go. That nigga doesn't deserve your attention," I just mumbled angrily. "Drizzy was right. You're too blind to see that he isn't good for ya." Crossing my arms, I scoffed. "You were the one who called me, begging for ma help."
Nicki's POV:
I still screamed at Wayne - I could barely believe what he had just done. Yea, Safaree laid hands on me, but he's my best friend and what Wayne did just isn't right. The tears were still running down my cheeks as I punched Wayne's chest repeatedly until I finally collapsed into his arms, pressing my head against his chest and letting the tears now fall recklessly. "I'm sorry," I mumbled again and again.
